Abstract |
Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Simulation-Based deliveryeducation before and after clinical practice on nursing students.
Methods The experimental group contains 48 students taking obstetrics clinical practice afterhaving Simulation-Based delivery education, and the control group contains 48 students takingSimulation-Based delivery education after having clinical practice. Simulation-Based delivery educationhad done 3 hours in a week for 7 weeks, and clinical practice had done 9 hours in a dayfor 5 days. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 20.0 window program.
Results Nursing students who received Simulation-Based delivery education had higher level ofdelivery care knowledge (t=4.93, p<.001), Clinical performance ability (t=15.76, p<.001) and simulationutilizing satisfaction(t=3.92, p<.001) than those who did not attend.
Conclusion The effect of Simulation-Based delivery education is depend on the contents of theeducation and the surroundings of experiment, the results of study recommend placing ‘Simulation-Based delivery education’ previously to clinical practice during organizing a course of study. |
